Pneumonic Plague
An outbreak of plague has struck in northwest china among tibetan villagers, who probably first contracted the highly contagious and deadly form of plague from skinning wild marmots. Pneumonic plague is the most rare form of the black death, but the most deadly.
Yes....we are all going to die...lol. I am scared about the reoccurence of the swine flu this fall, but not really about this, these isolated outbreaks among rural marmot eaters, etc. just happen
Although some parts of this blog may be based on real life events, the patients represented are either completely fictional characters, or the details of the clinical circumstances are so drastically changed that a connection should never be made with an actual person or event. Those seeking to make such a connection would do better to look inside their own hearts and in their own communities because this blog is about a large part of America
I guess my calls to Chinatown are going to go up. SARS was good for at least 10 runs a day back then.
